Marsiling Hack: Bus 856 from Marsiling MRT drops you at the Train Checkpoint, often skipping the main causeway jam.
Shared Berth: 160, 170, and 170X use the same boarding berth. Join the "SBS Queue" and take whichever arrives first. 170X (Blue Plate) is usually a faster loop.
